Heather had been waiting to find her forever person for years. One day a coworker was telling her that she found her husband on Bumble. Heather hated that dating app, but was willing to give just about anything a try so she downloaded it and created her profile.

Henry didn't think he could ever find someone that he could love and trust. At this point in time, Henry 's grandmother had recently passed away and Henry wanted to make life changes. Henry started hiking and getting on dating apps. In November, he promised himself that if he didn't find anyone that month, he was canceling the dating apps. Henry preferred Bumble because the women had to speak first - right up his alley.

It didn't take too long before Heather ran into Henry. They began chatting and exchanged phone numbers. At this point in time, Heather had a few trips back to back. Henry didn't want to keep waiting for the first date, so he asked which days she was available. She gave him one option - Mon, Nov 11. He took it and they met for dinner at Marlows.

Henry liked Heather and really liked how Heather had things to talk about and their conversation felt so natural. Heather was interested and had finally found a nice guy.

Henry asked Heather out on a second date. They were going to have dinner and then go to the Titanic. By the time they got to the Titanic, they were told it was too late and they couldn't go in. Henry felt really bad about it, but Heather didn't mind because they were allowed to go back on a different date.

The two of them definitely honed in on each other. They continued dating - talking/ texting throughout the days and seeing each other as much as possible. Both of them really loved to travel and they definitely found a travel partner in each other. Henry and Heather started traveling and took 14 trips in 2025.

Somewhere along the way Heather told Henry she is NOT doing the dating thing anymore and he is stuck with her and she meant it. The rest is history!

Henry proposed on the beach on April 26, 2026. He wanted it to be something that the two of them had shared - which was plenty of beach trips. He brought a beach blanket and the two talked and it started raining. It was perfect - no one was around - just Heather and Henry. Before she knew it, Henry was on a knee proposing to her!! Heather, of course excited, said YES! Now, the wedding planning has begun!
